I grew up in central Virginia, where the summers are hot and humid and the winters grant us a couple inches of snowfall if we’re lucky. I came to UNE from a small, private Christian school where I had gone since the third grade. The change is something I’m not sure if I’ll get used to, at least not anytime soon.
I grew up watching my dad start his own business. I watched as my parents went from working at Pizza Hut and doing late night newspaper delivery just to get by, to my mom being able to work at the local library, a job she loves, and my dad being the CEO of a successful logistics company. Neither of my parents finished their college career. This is the main reason why I am pursuing a business administration degree during my time at UNE.
During my free time, I enjoy reading webtoons, scrolling through Reddit feeds, playing video games, taking walks outside, going out on my dad’s boat, and playing with my three dogs.
I’m usually not too talkative, unless you happen to mention one of the many topics that I happen to know quite a bit about, in which case you may never get me to stop talking. I like hanging out with people, but sometimes I need my alone time, too. I enjoy helping people with whatever they might need, be it help with schoolwork or just someone to listen. I tend to be a night owl and I love coffee. I hope to one day possibly open my own coffee shop, or maybe just work in one.
